Drilone is curating a custom Mimobot show at San Diego Comic Con in conjunction with Mimoco. One of these pieces will be for sale and one will be up for a raffle. The artist list is awesome and I’m proud to be a part [...] With a busy weekend behind me I was ready to share my latest sketches for the commission concept with the guy that is getting the mini munny. After i sent these on the original sketch was picked for moving forward with the sculpting. Should have Pt. 3 before long. Time to pick out a cool [...] I just added some mini Lego Zombie canvases to the store page. Each canvas is 4″ x 3″ and is $40 shipped. Last week I was asked if I do commissions, and I thought that I really don’t promote how much I enjoy doing pieces specifically for someone. So I am going to do a series of posts (with the permission of the guy buying the piece) going through the process of buying a commission from me. [ July 10, 2009; 12:00 am to 11:59 pm. ] Alcove Gallery celebrates it’s 6th anniversary with artworks inspired by the genius of David Lynch. Friday July 10, 7 – 10pm Artists Include: Chet Zar, Leslie Ditto, Dan May, Aaron Nather, Dave MacDowell, Matt Sesow, Mark Henderson, Danni Shinya Luo, Apricot Mantle, Justin Kauffman, Ashley Surber, Amy Botello, Macsorro, Kelly McKernan, Sylvia Ortiz, Brian Colin, Shaun Thurston, [...] I wanted to make some small canvases that would be affordable pieces for the upcoming Art-B-Que festival in Avondale (just outside of Atlanta). I decided to do a series of Lego Zombie pieces. Each one is 4″ x 3″. These will go on sale at 10am at the festival on June 13th. If you’re in [...] I’ve started a small series of little Lego Zombie canvases (4″ x 3″). I wanted to have some pieces that were really affordable at the Art-B-Que festival coming up and thought it would be a good way to get some of my art into more homes.
