Drilone is curating a custom Mimobot show at San Diego Comic Con in conjunction with Mimoco. One of these pieces will be for sale and one will be up for a raffle. The artist list is awesome and I’m proud to be a part [...] With a busy weekend behind me I was ready to share my latest sketches for the commission concept with the guy that is getting the mini munny. After i sent these on the original sketch was picked for moving forward with the sculpting. Should have Pt. 3 before long. Time to pick out a cool [...] Last week I was asked if I do commissions, and I thought that I really don’t promote how much I enjoy doing pieces specifically for someone. So I am going to do a series of posts (with the permission of the guy buying the piece) going through the process of buying a commission from me. It was really cool of Flying Fortress, the creator of Teddy Troops, to take a liking to my custom and post it on 3 sites! Be sure to check out his sites and support a great artist! Last night I finished the vulture section of my custom teddy troop. Time to move onto the teddy. Last night and Monday I made a good bit of progress on the hat portion of my teddy troop. Still has a long way to go, but wanted to post a few more pics along the way. [ April 3, 2009; 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. ] A.Okay Official in Chicago is putting on a Nesting Doll show that I will have a set in. Opening Reception April 3 from 6-10pm A.Okay Official Gallery Gallery Times: I finished up this custom mini munny a couple weeks ago but had to hold off on shipping him until he made it to his home in California. Edgar is based off a character in my painting “Journey through the forest of the dead.” He was fun to sculpt, I hope you enjoy. |
